eLearningMeet: Developing creative practitioners through an e-portfolio

Alison shared her experience of teaching the ‘Developing Creative Learners’ module for the first time. The idea behind the module is to create a context of informed understanding through a blend of reflective processing of previous and current polices, and how they stand in the light of existing research, and what the combined impact has upon pedagogical practice within the classroom.

Students were asked to capture their practice-driven learning journey onto an e-portfolio. Alison advised the students to use ‘WordPress’ as an e-portfolio platform for this module. She arranged two workshops from the department’s eLearning Advisor to demonstrate how to use ‘WordPress’ and to support students in setting up their blog sites.
